The average cost of homes sold in Carmel was $348,639 in March 2015! In 2014, the average sales price was $349,719. That’s a .004% decrease. The price per square foot stayed the same. In both March 2015 and March 2014, the price per sq. ft. was $125! The days on market went down! In March 2015, the average DOM was 84 days (longest being 478) and in 2014, the average DOM was 89 days (longest being 613)!
The most popular neighborhoods in Carmel were: Brookshire Village (3), Plum Creek (4), Saddle Creek (4), Settler’s Ridge (3) and Village of West Clay (15) The average size of a home sold this month was four bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms and about 2,600 sq. ft.!
In the Carmel luxury real estate market, there were 19 homes sold over $500,000 in 2015, compared to 22 in 2014. The most luxurious home sold in Carmel this March sold for $1,712,500 and is located on Sherbern Dr. This home has five bedrooms, six full bathrooms and three half bathrooms, and sits on almost 1.5 acres!
