There are still a few weeks left to head to the Nickel Plate Amphitheater on Friday nights for Movies in the Park! This Friday, October 3rd, bring the little ones out to see Frozen! Next Friday, October 10th, features Muppets Most Wanted!
On October 4th and 5th, attend Fishers Renaissance Faire at the Saxony Development! This event features over 250 costumed characters, jousting, knighting ceremonies, parades, food, kid’s games, artisans and more!

On Saturday October 11th, Fishers High School is hosting Christmas in October Craft Fair! Get your Christmas shopping done early with over 150 vendors featuring handcrafted cards, ornaments, painted glass, jewelry, candles, doll clothes, pillowcase dresses, baby apparel, wooden toys, painted figures, and pottery!
On October 18th, head to the Nickel Plate for the Nickel Plate Street Festival! This is a free event, but there will be plenty of vendors selling some must haves! Vendors such as Gallery 116, Roman & Leo, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Archer Meats and Catering, and many more are all attending! This is a family friendly event that features face painters, chalk zone and balloon artists! Don’t have kids or looking for a date night? There is live music and an after party at Chatham Tap featuring eight Sun King beers on tap!
On October 24th, head back to the Nickel Plate Amphitheater for Boo Bash! This event has many booths and games for children to play and win prizes!
All month long, come on out to Conner Prairie for Headless Horseman! At Headless Horseman, there are great events such as: haunted hayride, costume contest, catapult fun, Scary-o-ke and more! It’s a hauntingly good time for all ages and a beloved fall tradition for many families!
