If your little ones just need one more day in their costumes, I have the perfect solution! Many nursing homes, including American Senior Communities, have trick or treat days! This is a wonderful way to bring a little cheer to these seasoned men and women! Eagle Valley, Zionsville and Mooresville all have trick or treating events!
On October 24th, the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater hosts Boo Bash! This event features safe trick-or-treating, live music, games, activities, and a costume contest!

Head over to Tuttle Orchard for a day of apple picking, hay rides, pumpkin patch, corn mazes and more!
The 42nd Pumpkin Harvest Festival is up and running at Stony Creek Farm! This festival includes: a zipline, pumpkin train, hay rides, farm animals, haunted house, maze, and candle-making!
In the Carmel Events in October, I mentioned the Indianapolis ZooBoo! Bring your little ones in their favorite costumes and see all of the magnificent animals including the elephants smashing pumpkins!
On October 25th, the Carmel Arts Council is hosting their Pumpkin Festival which features pumpkin carving, live entertainment, food vendors and master pumpkin carver Lee Saberson!
The Cool Creek Park and Nature Trail has transformed into the Haunted Trails! Activities include: a trail of ghouls and goblins, campfire, crafts, live owls, and a monster mash dance area!
Lastly, the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis has several Halloween events including three haunted houses, a ‘boo-fet’ with witches and many other activities!
If you are kid free for the night, Blackhawk Wine & Vineyard is hosting Night of Wine, Magic and Chocolate! There will be several kinds of wine, hand selected (and local) chocolate perfectly chosen to compliment the wine as well as Magician Scott Raymond!
If being scared is your thing, there’s no better place than Hanna’s Haunted Acres! There are five haunts including the classic Haunted Hayride! There are two new haunts this year; Hooded and Outbreak!
