October is my favorite month… football is in full swing, the weather is cooler, the leaves are falling and the holiday season is right around the corner! With that, it’s always great to get out and about to see all that Carmel has to offer. Here’s a look at October Events in Carmel!
October 1st-18th, the Shakespeare Festival Bard Fest 2015 is running at Studio 15 Theatre! Some of the plays that will run are: Othello, As You Like It, and Timon of Athens! There are also plenty of extra events to make this Fest new every time you go!
On October 2nd, head to the Carmel City Center for Oktoberfest 2015! This fun event features great food, drinks and live music! Polka Boy will be headlining the entertainment! There will also be a biergarten and airbrush tattoos for kids as well the freedom to walk around the center and explore all the great shops!
October 3rd is a fun event for all of you dog lovers! Attend Dogs in the Park at the Carmel Art & Design District! Take a walk with your pups to Donatellos for free chicken and rise and then head to Muldoons for more doggy snacks! Continue your walk to Happy Dog Hotel & Spa for a doggy swag bag, bandanas, coupons and more! Wrap up your walk with a trip to Soho Gallery to continue the spoiling!
On October 8th, head to the Palladium for an evening with Travis Tritt! This country star, with hits such as: T-R-O-U-B-L-E, Anymore, and Here’s a Quarter (Call Someone Who Cares), is bringing his acoustic tour to Carmel! He will be telling stories, singing great songs and connecting with the audience!
October 10th features Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto with Susie Park at the Palladium! The event, sponsored by the Carmel Symphony Orchestra, highlights Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto as well as Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7 and Marquez’s Danzon No. 2!
